What is your favorite childhood book?

I remember reading all of the Black Stallion books. I love horses so these were my favorites.

2. Do you read your book reviews? How do you deal with bad or good ones?

Yes, I do read them. I like to learn from constructive criticism. If several of them are saying it needs more of this or that, then I know that is something that I need to work on.  Everyone loves a good review and bad reviews can hurt. You have to realize that not everyone likes the same things. I remember being so excited to read a book that everyone was raving about and that had been made into a movie.  When I finally read it, I hated it and couldn’t understand why it was such a big hit. So if someone says they don’t like what I wrote, I just have to remember that not everyone will like you or like your work.  It isn’t personal.

3. What one thing would you give up to become a better writer?

I would love to give up my day job but I don’t see that happening unless I win the lottery. Lol

4. What’s the sexiest accent?

I like the Australian accent but since I’ve been watching the tv show Good Behavior, I’ve changed my mind.  I adore Javier and love his Spanish accent.

5. What is your favorite romance sub-genre to read and write?
